Allianz Commercial Singapore has appointed insurance specialist Hydor as a managing general agent (MGA) to enhance its marine liability insurance offerings in the Asia-Pacific region.
The move authorises Hydor to quote and bind policies for a range of marine liability products.
Allianz Commercial regional managing director Christian Sandric said: “Hydor has a proven track record in the marine insurance sector, with expensive expertise and strong commitment to delivering exceptional service and tailored solutions.
“This partnership will allow us to leverage their local market knowledge and operation excellence, expand our product reach into markets in the region and ensure that our clients receive the best possible coverage and services.”
This MGA agreement was made through Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE Singapore Branch and includes coverage for property, handling equipment, hull and machinery, port craft and service boats.
Hydor CEO Folkert Strengholt stated: “We are proud to enter into this partnership with Allianz Commercial, which represents a significant milestone in our continued growth and presence across Asia-Pacific.
