Acrisure has forged a “strategic partnership” with Monopoli Sigorta Aracılık Hizmetleri, marking its entry into the Turkish market.
Under the agreement, Monopoli Sigorta will become part of Acrisure’s international network while retaining its current brand and management team.

The financial details of the transaction were not made public.
Based in Maslak, Istanbul, Monopoli Sigorta has been operating in the Turkish insurance market for more than 25 years, serving both corporate and individual clients and working with insurance companies across the country.
In 2016, the company received investment from EMF Capital Partners, becoming one of the early insurance intermediaries in Turkey to secure institutional private equity backing.
The company will continue to be led by its co-founders, CEO Erol Esentürk and chief operating officer İzzet Bonofiyel.

The tie-up links Monopoli Sigorta’s presence in the local market with Acrisure’s operations in insurance, technology, data analytics and international risk advisory.
According to the announcement, the arrangement is intended to widen Monopoli Sigorta’s operational resources and risk-related capabilities for corporate and individual clients, while also improving data, reporting and infrastructure support for its insurance company partners.
