Sports insurance firm A-G Administrators has joined forces with Sparta Science, a provider of movement diagnostic software.

Both companies will work alongside to offer a solution that will gauge an individual’s readiness for sport, injury risk, and return to play timelines.

The move is relevant amid the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, which is keeping athletes away from sports and offering risk of musculoskeletal injuries upon return.

A-G Administrators chief marketing officer James Shipp said: “Partnering with Sparta Science enhances our reach to provide our customers and prospects a combination of experience, organised products and service after the sale.”

Sparta leverages Force Plate Machine Learning (FPML) to detect one’s movement and offers d individualised, evidence-based plans to improve readiness and reduce injury risk.

The company will provide Sparta 10 hours of testing to existing customers of A-G Administrator.

A-G Administrator believes that in partnership with Sparta, it can lower surgeries by up to 48% and reduce insurance claims linked to injuries by 45% yearly.

Sparta Science senior sports strategist Doug Padron said: “Sparta Science is adamant about leveraging science and technology to provide protection and prevention for athletes.
