Out of the total IT job titles posted by Willis Towers Watson, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 53.8% in October 2021, and a 97.67% rise over September 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 19.62% in October 2021, and registered a decline of 6.06%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 15.19% in October 2021, a 100% rise from September 2021.

North America emerged as the leading region in the global insurance IT hiring activity in October 2021 with a 39.24% share, which marked an 8.77% rise over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 26.58%, registering a 75% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 25.95% share and a 141.18% rise over September 2021.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 8.23% and a month-on-month increase of 8.33%.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s insurance industry IT hiring activity with a 36.71% share in October 2021, a 5.45% growth over September 2021. The UK featured next with a 24.05% share, up 65.22% over the previous month. India recorded a 13.29% share, an increase of 950% compared with September 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Willis Towers Watson IT hiring activity in October 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 82.28%, up by 41.3% from September 2021. Mid Level positions with a 12.03% share, a growth of 137.5% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 5.7% share, down 10% over September 2021.
