The industry’s overall hiring increased by 4.74% in March 2022 when compared with February 2022.

Top five insurance companies in the US’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 29.92% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US’s insurance industry during March 2022 over February 2022.
Anthem posted 741 IT jobs in March 2022 and registered a rise of 15.96% over the previous month, followed by UnitedHealth Group with 730 jobs and a 5.04% growth. Centene with 322 IT jobs and Liberty International Holdings with 215 jobs, recorded a 58.62% growth and a flat growth, respectively, while MetLife recorded an increase of 18.09% with 111 job postings during March 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in March 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 58.79%, up by 1.21% from February 2022. Mid Level positions with a 28.64% share, registered an increase of 16.73% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 11.39% share, up 4.22% over February 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 1.17%, recording a month-on-month increase of 23.08%.
