The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 1.5% in November 2021 when compared with October 2021.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Swiss Re IT hiring in November 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Swiss Re, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 66.11% in November 2021, and a 13.33% rise over October 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 15% in November 2021, and registered a decline of 32.5%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 13.33% in November 2021, a flat growth from October 2021.

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global insurance IT hiring activity in November 2021 with a 46.67% share, which marked a 3.45% drop over the previous month.
North America stood next with 32.78%, registering a 9.23% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 14.44% share and a 30% rise over October 2021.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 6.11% and a month-on-month increase of 83.33%.
Slovakia commanded a leading presence in the region’s insurance industry IT hiring activity with a 23.89% share in November 2021, a 4.44% decline over October 2021. US featured next with a 22.78% share, down 2.38% over the previous month. Switzerland recorded an 11.67% share, a decline of 8.7% compared with October 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Swiss Re IT hiring activity in November 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 67.22%, up by 8.04% from October 2021. Mid Level positions with a 25.56% share, a decline of 16.36% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 7.22% share, up 18.18% over October 2021.
