Philippines insurance industry registered a 2.8% drop in IT hiring activity in March 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 8.23% in March 2022 when compared with February 2022.
Out of the insurance industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 24.28% share in March 2022, recording an increase of 1.14% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Philippines insurance industry’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Philippines insurance industry in March 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 55% in March 2022, registering a 46.67% growth over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 22.5% share, an increase of 125% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 12.5%, registering a 37.5% decline from February 2022.
4) Database and Network Administrators and Architects captured a share of 7.5%, down 57.14% over the previous month.
Top five insurance companies in Philippines IT recruitment activity in March 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 28.85% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Philippines insurance industry during March 2022 over February 2022.
Willis Towers Watson posted 28 IT jobs in March 2022 and registered a rise of 40% over the previous month. QBE Insurance Group with 8 IT jobs and Sun Life Financial with 2 jobs, recorded a 20% decline and a flat growth, respectively, while Choice Home Warranty recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during March 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in March 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 90%, up by 20% from February 2022. Mid Level positions with a 7.5% share, registered an increase of 50% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 2.5% share, down 80% over February 2022.
