Netherlands insurance industry registered a 5.8% rise in IT hiring activity in March 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 1.39% in March 2022 when compared with February 2022.
Out of the insurance industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 23.62% share in March 2022, recording an increase of 2.03% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Netherlands insurance industry’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Netherlands insurance industry in March 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 72.97% in March 2022, registering a 31.71% growth over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 10.81% share, an increase of 14.29% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 10.81%, registering a 60% rise from February 2022.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 5.41%, up 100% over the previous month.
Top five insurance companies in Netherlands IT recruitment activity in March 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 32% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Netherlands insurance industry during March 2022 over February 2022.
NN Group posted 30 IT jobs in March 2022 and registered a rise of 3.45% over the previous month, followed by Swiss Re with 20 jobs and a 25% growth. ASR Nederland with 7 IT jobs and VGZ Zorgverzekeraar with 6 jobs, recorded a 133.33% growth and a 200% growth, respectively, while Zurich Insurance Group recorded a flat growth with 3 job postings during March 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in March 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 77.03%, up by 23.91% from February 2022. Mid Level positions with a 16.22% share, registered an increase of 33.33% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 6.76% share, up 400% over February 2022.
