Netherlands insurance industry registered a 1.2% rise in IT hiring activity in November 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 7.17% in November 2021 when compared with October 2021.
Out of the insurance industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 19.73% share in November 2021, recording a decrease of 1.31% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Netherlands insurance industry’s IT recruitment activity in November 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Netherlands insurance industry in November 2021.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 67.27% in November 2021, registering a 15.63% growth over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 14.55% share, an increase of 166.67% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 12.73%, registering a 12.5% decline from October 2021.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 5.45%, up 50% over the previous month.
Top five insurance companies in Netherlands IT recruitment activity in November 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 20.93% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Netherlands insurance industry during November 2021 over October 2021.
NN Group posted 19 IT jobs in November 2021 and registered a rise of 26.67% over the previous month, followed by Swiss Re with 10 jobs and a flat growth. ASR Nederland with 10 IT jobs and Zilveren Kruis Achmea with 9 jobs, recorded a 42.86% growth and a 10% decrease, respectively, while VGZ Zorgverzekeraar recorded an increase of 300% with 4 job postings during November 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 76.36%, up by 50% from October 2021. Entry Level positions with a 12.73% share, registered a decline of 22.22% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 10.91% share, down 40% over October 2021.
