The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 7.24% in October 2021 when compared with September 2021.
Out of the insurance industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 6.36% share in October 2021, recording an increase of 0.36% over the last three-month average share.

By GlobalData1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 62.59% in October 2021, registering a 12.12% decline over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 21.58% share, an increase of 66.67% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 7.91%, registering a 26.67% decline from September 2021.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 7.19%, up 100% over the previous month.
Top five insurance companies in India’s IT recruitment activity in October 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 28.38% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s insurance industry during October 2021 over September 2021.
Bajaj Finserv posted 44 IT jobs in October 2021 and registered a rise of 4.76% over the previous month, followed by Willis Towers Watson with 21 jobs and a 950% growth. M&G with 12 IT jobs and Swiss Re with 11 jobs, recorded a 200% growth and a 37.5% growth, respectively, while Berkshire Hathaway recorded a decline of 61.11% with 7 job postings during October 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 66.91%, up by 16.25% from September 2021. Mid Level positions with a 26.62% share, registered a decline of 26% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 6.47% share, down 10% over September 2021.
