The industry’s overall hiring increased by 24.37% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.

By GlobalData1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 66.91% in September 2021, registering a 5.21% decline over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 14.71% share, a decrease of 9.09% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 11.03%, registering a 50% rise from August 2021.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 3.68%, up 66.67% over the previous month.
Top five insurance companies in India’s IT recruitment activity in September 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 31.34% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s insurance industry during September 2021 over August 2021.
Bajaj Finserv posted 42 IT jobs in September 2021 and registered a drop of 10.64% over the previous month, followed by Berkshire Hathaway with 18 jobs and a 260% growth. Marsh & McLennan Companies with 13 IT jobs and Swiss Re with 8 jobs, recorded a 1200% flat growth and a 38.46% decrease, respectively, while Sun Life Financial recorded an increase of 600% with 7 job postings during September 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 58.09%, down by 14.13% from August 2021. Mid Level positions with a 35.29% share, registered an increase of 41.18% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 5.88% share, up 60% over August 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.74%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
