The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 4.69% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.
Out of the insurance industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 13.88% share in September 2021, recording an increase of 1.3% over the last three-month average share.

By GlobalData1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 58.91% in September 2021, registering a 12.64% decline over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 25.58% share, a decrease of 2.94% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 6.98%, registering a 57.14% decline from August 2021.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 5.43%, flat growth over the previous month.
Top five insurance companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in September 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 2.63% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s insurance industry during September 2021 over August 2021.
Allianz posted 62 IT jobs in September 2021 and registered a drop of 1.59% over the previous month, followed by Zurich Insurance Group with 26 jobs and a 31.58% drop. Wustenrot & Wurttembergische with 14 IT jobs and Unum Group with 10 jobs, recorded a flat growth and an 11.11% flat growth, respectively, while Intercorp Financial Services recorded an increase of 25% with 5 job postings during September 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 75.97%, down by 8.41% from August 2021. Mid Level positions with a 17.05% share, registered a decline of 21.43% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 6.98% share, down 18.18% over August 2021.
