France-based company AXA’s IT hiring rose 28.6% in October 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 29.91% in October 2021 when compared with September 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 9.65% share in the company’s total hiring activity in October 2021, and recorded a 0.48% decline over the last three-month average share.

Miscellaneous Computer Occupations tops AXA IT hiring in October 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by AXA, Miscellaneous Computer Occupations emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 38.46% in October 2021, and a 471.43% rise over September 2021, while Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a share of 36.54% in October 2021, and registered growth of 171.43%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 20.19% in October 2021, a 250% rise from September 2021.

Europe drives IT hiring at AXA

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global insurance IT hiring activity in October 2021 with a 75.96% share, which marked a 259.09% rise over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 21.15%, registering a 266.67% month-on-month growth. South & Central America was the third leading region with a 1.92% share and a flat growth over September 2021.

In the fourth place was North America with a share of 0.96% and a month-on-month decline of 50%.

France commanded a leading presence in the region’s insurance industry IT hiring activity with a 28.85% share in October 2021, an 114.29% growth over September 2021. The UK featured next with a 27.88% share, up 1350% over the previous month. Hong Kong recorded a 13.46% share, an increase of 600% compared with September 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead AXA IT hiring activity in October 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 79.81%, up by 315% from September 2021. Entry Level positions with a 10.58% share, a growth of 120% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 9.62% share, up 100% over September 2021.
