Bank Danamon is to offer
Manulife Financial’s insurance and wealth management products to a
broader range of customers through its branch network across
Indonesia.
The initiative is a
follow up of the partnership agreement between Manulife’s operation
in Indonesia and Bank Danamon in October 2011.
The products launched
through the partnership include life insurance protection as well
as investment options, through 14 unit-linked funds.
They will initially be
marketed by more than 250 professionally-trained financial
specialists as well as bank staff.
Michellina Triwardhany,
Danamon’s Director for consumer banking, said the partnership with
Manulife is in line with its commitment to provide lifetime
financial support and deepen its customer relationships.
“Additionally, this
partnership has a strong potential to contribute significantly to
the bank’s fee based income,” she added.
