The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 3.44% in July 2021 when compared with June 2021.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Swiss Re IT hiring in July 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Swiss Re, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 48.67% in July 2021, and a 13.1% drop over June 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 20.67% in July 2021, and registered a 6.06% decline. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 13.33% in July 2021, a 31.03% drop from June 2021.

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global insurance IT hiring activity in July 2021 with a 44.67% share, which marked a 22.09% drop over the previous month.
North America stood next with 34%, registering a 3.77% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 20.67% share and a 13.89% drop over June 2021.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 0.67% and a month-on-month flat growth.
Slovakia commanded a leading presence in the region’s insurance industry IT hiring activity with a 24% share in July 2021, a 23.4% decline over June 2021. the US featured next with a 22% share, down 5.71% over the previous month.India recorded a 12.67% share, decline of 5% compared with June 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Swiss Re IT hiring activity in July 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 71.33%, down by 14.4% from June 2021. Mid Level positions with a 21.33% share, a decline of 15.79% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 7.33% share, down 8.33% over June 2021.
