The industry’s overall hiring increased by 10.04% in July 2021 compared with June 2021.

Out of the insurance industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 25.09% share in July 2021, recording an increase of 2.13% over the last three-month average share.

By GlobalData1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 72.73% in July 2021, a 23.08% growth over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed an 18.18% share, an increase of 33.33% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 6.06%, registering a flat growth from June 2021.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 4.55%, flat growth over the previous month.
Top five insurance companies in Spain IT recruitment activity in July 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 16.07% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Spain insurance industry during July 2021 over June 2021.
Zurich Insurance Group posted 46 IT jobs in July 2021 and registered a rise of 39.39% over the previous month, followed by Allianz with 11 jobs and an 8.33% drop. AXA with 5 IT jobs and Swiss Re with 2 jobs, recorded a 37.5% drop and a flat growth, respectively, while Cigna recorded a 66.67% decline with 1 job postings during July 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 53.03%, down by 7.89% from June 2021. Mid Level positions with a 30.3% share, a growth of 81.82% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 16.67% share, up 57.14% over June 2021.
