Shnaps joined TransRe in 2014 through the Capital Partners Group.

He most recently held the role of global property portfolio leader, overseeing property strategy and analytics, aggregate management and collaboration with international teams.

He will now report to North America chief underwriting officer John Fugit.

Torre’s new portfolio includes oversight of the global property segment, in addition to his duties related to third-party capital strategy.

Torre, who joined the company in 2018, will now report to Global Portfolio Management president Lisa Moser.

Haji has taken charge of global catastrophe management and catastrophe modelling staff.

Since joining in 2014, Haji has worked on validating third-party catastrophe models, developing frameworks for property risk assessment and integrating cyber modelling into exposure management.

She will continue to report to Lisa Moser in her role as global head of research and catastrophe management.

Commenting on the promotions, McKeon said: “In today’s market, it is more important than ever that our front-line teams have the best possible support to help deliver the service and capabilities that our partner clients and brokers expect and deserve. These changes help us deliver this goal, and demonstrate the strength and depth of talent within TransRe.”
