Cytora has joined forces with Climatig, a provider of physical climate risk calculation tools, to bring climate risk analysis directly into its digital risk processing platform for insurers. 

This integration allows users of Cytora’s platform to access climate data from Climatig as part of their risk assessment process.

Underwriters can access additional information to assess exposure at both the asset and portfolio level.

The cooperation brings Climatig’s data into play when a property submission is processed within Cytora.  

The system geolocates assets and automatically requests a detailed climate risk assessment, which is then used during the enrichment and risk evaluation stages.  

This supports underwriters in reviewing portfolios for climate exposure and meeting disclosure obligations. 

The combined use of Cytora’s document processing technology and Climatig’s risk projections assists insurers in addressing regulatory considerations and evaluating strategy around risk appetite and market selection.
