Venbrook and Cognizant have formed an alliance to transform the insurance claims process for property and casualty (P&C) carriers using AI.

The AI-driven third-party administrator (TPA) claims solution is designed to optimise the entire claims processing life cycle, resulting in cost savings and enhanced efficiency for insurance carriers.

Jointly developed by Venbrook and Cognizant, the solution leverages AI to digitise critical aspects of the claims value chain.

Under the agreement, Cognizant will deliver services to Venbrook, including claims processing, financial operations, policy administration and compliance processing.

These services will be supported by Venbrook’s nationwide network of licensed adjusters.

Cognizant Intuitive Operations, Automation and Industry Solutions president Ganesh Ayyar said: “By combining our agentic AI and generative AI solutions with Venbrook’s proven TPA expertise, we are delivering a solution that transforms operations and elevates the customer experience for carriers and policyholders alike.”

The solution integrates Venbrook’s experience in claims handling with Cognizant’s AI technologies.

It is designed to automate complex tasks, manage workflows and generate customer communications that adhere to compliance standards.

Predictive analytics will be employed to enhance decision-making processes.

The new model also focuses on supporting early fraud detection, scaling operations during peak periods, enhancing customer satisfaction and reducing operational expenses for insurance carriers.

Cognizant’s expertise in AI and automation further strengthens the partnership.

Venbrook CEO and founder Jason Turner stated: “Using the power of our joint expertise to develop this new service, alongside our nationwide adjuster network, together we can help carriers address critical challenges within the claims process to reduce costs, scale quickly during peak seasons, and improve accuracy to deliver measurable savings and a better customer experience.”

In February 2025, Cognizant extended its collaboration with KBC Group until 2027, supporting the bank insurer’s IT and business transformation with IT services.
