Data analytics and AI specialist EXL has partnered with insurance middleware platform InsureMO, enabling insurers to modernise core systems, integrate AI, and pursue digital transformation.

The collaboration combines EXL’s insurance industry knowledge and AI proficiency with InsureMO’s cloud-native digital infrastructure, equipping insurers to refine policy administration and update legacy systems without interruption.

The initiative is designed to assist insurers in moving away from “monolithic systems” and to drive innovation in essential operations such as underwriting, policy administration, claims handling, and distribution channels.

InsureMO’s middleware is compatible with global placement platforms, including PSC, Ebix, Steadfast, as well as the London market, which could potentially widen insurers’ operational flexibility and market access.

EXL’s expertise in extensive modernisation projects and insurance AI is expected to help clients incorporate capabilities such as AI-driven underwriting and automated claims processing.

According to the company, these enhancements can be integrated with existing core systems, offering a way to update operations “quickly” and with “less disruption”.
