VOOM Insurance, a specialist in usage-based insurance products for new mobility, has appointed Thomas Coyne as the head of insurance.  

Coyne has been working in the property and casualty insurance sector for more than 30 years. 

Previously, he served in senior roles at several insurance companies including a stint at Mercury Insurance, where he managed a $3.4bn personal lines portfolio as product management head.  

Coyne has expertise in developing and implementing new non-standard auto specialty programmes for MGAs.
