US retail insurance brokerage King Risk Partners has appointed Joel Eubank as its chief operating officer (COO), effective April 2025.

Eubank has more than two decades of experience in the insurance industry, with a background in finance, operations and strategic leadership.

He most recently served as COO and chief financial officer of Dealer Services at Brown & Brown Insurance.

During his time at Brown & Brown, Eubank held several leadership positions across acquisition integration, finance and operations.

Eubank said: “I am excited to join King Risk Partners at such a dynamic time in its growth. The company’s entrepreneurial spirit, strong client focus and commitment to building an enduring platform directly align with my own values.

“I look forward to helping the King Risk Partners team shape the next chapter of success.”

Eubank completed his Master of Business Administration with a focus on Accounting and Finance from the University of Kentucky.

His appointment is described by King Risk Partners as a key development in the company’s ongoing focus on operational excellence.

King Risk Partners president Pete Gilbertson stated: “Joel’s extensive experience leading high-growth organisations and his deep understanding of retail brokerage, programme administration and claims consulting make him the ideal addition to our executive leadership team.

“His leadership will be instrumental as we continue to scale our operations, execute on acquisitions and deepen our partnerships across the industry.”

Last month, King Risk Partners secured investment from Lightyear Capital, alongside BHMS Investments, an existing shareholder.

BHMS will maintain a significant portion of its investment in the company and will also provide additional capital in collaboration with the management team of King Risk Partners.
