Out of the total IT job titles posted by Marsh & McLennan Companies, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 56.99% in April 2022, and a 55.88% rise over March 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 21.51% in April 2022, and registered growth of 11.11%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 11.83% in April 2022, a 37.5% rise from March 2022.

North America emerged as the leading region in the global insurance IT hiring activity in April 2022 with a 70.97% share, which marked a 60.98% rise over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 20.43%, registering an 11.76% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with an 8.6% share and a 20% drop over March 2022.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s insurance industry IT hiring activity with a 62.37% share in April 2022, a 45% growth over March 2022. India featured next with a 13.98% share, up 62.5% over the previous month. Mexico recorded a 6.45% share, an increase of 500% compared with March 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Marsh & McLennan Companies IT hiring activity in April 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 60.22%, up by 69.7% from March 2022. Mid Level positions with a 20.43% share, a growth of 5.56% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 15.05% share, flat growth over March 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 4.3%, recording a month-on-month increase of 33.33%.
