Generali Group has appointed Jack Howell as its new regional officer for Asia. Howell will be responsible for Generali Asia’s insurance operations in both life and property and casualty businesses. He will drive Generali’s growth plans in Asia covering ten markets.
Based in Hong Kong, Howell will be reporting directly to Generali Group CEO, Mario Greco. Howell succeeds Sergio di Caro who has moved on to assume a global role as head of Generali employee benefits.

Howell brings to Generali over 20 years of extensive industry experience and international perspective, having worked in various markets across Asia and the United States.
Prior to joining Generali, he was with Prudential where he held CEO positions in Vietnam and Indonesia and was responsible for driving business growth, devising and managing multiple distribution channels and closing key strategic partnerships.
