He started his career at the company, where he worked with former owner Hiles Stout and contributed to its development for more than 15 years before taking ownership in 2008.

Gerontes commented: “I see this as a chance to be part of something larger, with the scale, administrative support and market access needed to continue to serve clients the right way.”

As per its website, the agency offers personal insurance, business insurance and employee benefits.

Trucordia CEO Felix Morgan said: “We welcome the Hecht-Stout Insurance team to Trucordia.

“Gregory and his team have built a business that combines deep industry knowledge with a very practical, personal way of serving clients. They know how to take complicated coverage questions and make them understandable. That kind of client focus is exactly what we value.”

The latest transaction comes after Trucordia’s acquisition of Paradiso Financial and Insurance Services last month.

Paradiso is a brokerage based in Connecticut that serves customers across the New England region. It offers personal and commercial insurance products including auto, home, life, business and specialty lines.
