Coforge has introduced the Nexa Agentic AI Platform, a new insurance-focused business platform for the global insurance sector.
The system is intended to help insurers get more from their current insurance platforms and shorten time to market without changing core systems.
Access deeper industry intelligence
Experience unmatched clarity with a single platform that combines unique data, AI, and human expertise.
Instead of replacing existing technology, the platform works as an AI orchestration layer over current insurance infrastructure.
According to the company, the orchestration agents are modular and can be deployed either for selected functions or as a broader Insurance-in-a-Box model.
It said the platform includes human oversight, audit trails, measurable results and built-in insurance intelligence.
Based on the Coforge One AI platform, the system includes more than 30 insurance AI tools across underwriting, claims, product development, customer service and platform modernisation.
At the underwriting stage, the AI-enabled Submission Centre is designed to bring together broker submissions and manage data extraction, validation and prioritisation.
The Agentic State Rollout Factory is designed to automate rates, forms and filings across different jurisdictions.
The AI-enabled Product Rollout Factory is aimed at simplifying the product life cycle through agent-based automation.
The Agentic AI Global Expansion capability provides a repeatable approach for entering new markets, avoiding the need to rebuild configurations and regulatory structures for every geography.
For legacy systems, the Core Platform Modernisation capability uses AI agents to interpret older system complexity, support integrations and automate regression tasks.
In claims handling, the Agentic Claims Triaging Centre is designed to automate intake, triage and routing, while also identifying fraud indicators at an early stage.
Coforge EVP & insurance global practice head Rajeev Batra said: “Nexa Agentic AI platform brings together our AI engineering maturity and deep insurance domain expertise to help clients scale impact with confidence. Purpose-built for the global insurance market across Property & Casualty, Life & Annuities, and Specialty, as well as MGAs [managing general agents] and intermediaries, it addresses critical industry challenges through a suite of integrated, production-grade capabilities.”
In 2023, Coforge partnered with Newgen Software to deliver life cycle management solutions to insurance companies.
