Accelerant, a technology platform that connects specialty underwriters with risk capital partners, has named Linda S. Huber as its chief financial officer (CFO).

In the new role, Huber will run the company’s worldwide finance function, covering accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury and tax.

She succeeds Jay Green, who has stepped down “to pursue personal interests.”

Huber will report to CEO Jeff Radke.

Radke said: “We’re excited to welcome Linda to the team. Linda brings deep experience as a public company CFO across leading data and information services businesses, a strong track record of financial discipline and execution, and is a valuable addition to our already strong finance team.”

Huber’s recent posts include executive vice president and CFO at FactSet between 2021 and 2024, where she led finance activities across areas such as accounting, corporate development, FP&A, treasury, tax and investor relations.

Before that, she served as CFO and Treasurer at MSCI and as executive vice president and CFO at Moody’s Corporation.

Earlier in her career, she held senior positions at U.S. Trust Company, a Charles Schwab & Company subsidiary, and worked as a managing director at Freeman & Co.

Her background also includes roles at PepsiCo in corporate strategy and development and in treasury, alongside investment banking positions at Bankers Trust Co. and The First Boston Corp.

Huber was a Bank of Montreal director from April 2017 to August 2024 and sat on the Audit and Conduct Review Committee and the Risk Review Committee.

Accelerant began trading on the New York Stock Exchange last year.
