A subsidiary of insurance company Brown & Brown has acquired the assets of the J. Kevin Campbell Agency for an undisclosed sum.
The J. Kevin Campbell Agency has specialised in workers’ compensation insurance since its founding in 1991 by Kevin Campbell.

Following the acquisition, Campbell and Kian Ostovar will contribute their experience in workers’ compensation insurance to Brown & Brown’s Tampa and Ocala offices.
Ostovar became part of the J. Kevin Campbell Agency in 2004, opening a Gainesville office to support customers across north and central Florida.
Campbell commented: “For 34 years, we faced each other in the marketplace as competitors. Today, we are proud to stand together as teammates.”

Weatherbys Hamilton operates in seven UK locations: Edinburgh, Horsham, London, Newmarket, Penrith, Swindon and Wellingborough.
It provides equine insurance for those involved in horse ownership, breeding and training.
Brown & Brown has been operating as an insurance broker since 1939. The company has a network of more than 700 locations globally and employs more than 23,000 people.
