OP Life Assurance, part of the OP Financial Group, has adopted the Guidewire Jutro Digital Platform, aiming to improve the digital capabilities of its sales teams. 

The company implemented Guidewire PolicyCenter and Guidewire BillingCenter on the Guidewire Cloud Platform to transform its term life insurance offerings.  

The addition of the Jutro Digital Platform is intended to further improve its sales channel capabilities, facilitating the acquisition of new business, retention of customers and engagement with partners. 

OP Life Assurance deputy CEO Katja Taponen said: “We are proud to be the first life insurance company to go live with Guidewire, which has helped us to realise our ambition of innovation in IT thanks to the Guidewire Cloud Platform and Jutro Digital Platform.  

“Now, customers can purchase the new life insurance as well as covers for critical illness and temporary or permanent disability not only through our digital channel but also from insurance sales agents.” 

The Jutro Platform allows insurers to update and deploy products and features across all digital channels and partner networks, enabling the creation, testing and deployment of digital customer journeys.  

CGI, a Guidewire partner, supported OP Life Assurance in the implementation of the Jutro Digital Platform.
