Argentine insurance company San Cristóbal Seguros has implemented Guidewire InsuranceSuite on Guidewire Cloud to support its core operations.

The initiative aims to streamline the insurer’s IT operations and enhance its personal auto and fleet management business segments.

A Guidewire client since 2015, the company is expected to benefit from a quoting engine and new functionalities aimed at boosting operational efficiency and quickening time-to-market.

The transition to Guidewire Cloud was facilitated by SBI Technology, a member of the Guidewire PartnerConnect Consulting Advantage programme.

Grupo San Cristóbal chief information officer Federico Rela said: “Guidewire is a benchmark in everything that involves managing the businesses of P&C [property and casualty] and all processes in the insurance policy life cycle. It is helping us innovate, thanks to the focus and specialty they have in understanding business and the good practices of the market.

“Guidewire Cloud gives us better control of our business processes, positioning and laying the foundations to achieve greater speed and agility in the face of the changes that the business requires.”
