Totalis Program Underwriters, NFP’s specialty programme business, has launched Spotlight Entertainment Insurance, a new managing general agent (MGA).  

Spotlight delivers specialised insurance solutions to ancillary businesses that provide services to production companies in the entertainment industry. 

The newly established MGA is led by Totalis vice-president Alex Baiseri , who will report to Totalis Operations senior vice-president John Mahoney.

The launch of Spotlight is the culmination of more than 20 years of experience in the entertainment insurance programme sector, bringing together product development, protocol refinement and underwriting expertise. 

Spotlight’s portfolio includes property, general liability, inland marine, business auto and umbrella liability insurance products.  

These offerings are designed to meet the needs of staged events, ensuring that the insurance coverage aligns with the nuances of each project.
