France-based company AXA’s IT hiring rose 29.0% in April 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 25.75% in April 2022 when compared with March 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 9.64% share in the company’s total hiring activity in April 2022, and recorded a 0.12% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops AXA IT hiring in April 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by AXA, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 49.1% in April 2022, and a 57.69% rise over March 2022, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 23.35% in April 2022, and registered flat growth. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 19.76% in April 2022, an 83.33% rise from March 2022.

Europe drives IT hiring at AXA

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global insurance IT hiring activity in April 2022 with a 74.85% share, which marked a 32.98% rise over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 14.37%, registering a 20% month-on-month growth. North America was the third leading region with a 10.18% share and a 240% rise over March 2022.

In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 0.6% and a month-on-month flat growth.

France commanded a leading presence in the region’s insurance industry IT hiring activity with a 30.54% share in April 2022, a 34.21% growth over March 2022. Belgium featured next with a 14.97% share, up 19.05% over the previous month. The UK recorded a 13.77% share, an increase of 91.67% compared with March 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead AXA IT hiring activity in April 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 68.86%, up by 33.72% from March 2022. Mid Level positions with a 17.37% share, a growth of 70.59% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 13.77% share, up 43.75% over March 2022.
