Slovakia’s insurance industry registered a 0.8% drop in IT hiring activity in October 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring increased by 9% in October 2021 when compared with September 2021.

Out of the insurance industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 36.58% share in October 2021, recording a decrease of 1.46% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Slovakia’s insurance industry’s IT recruitment activity in October 2021

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Slovakia’s insurance industry in October 2021.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 62.3% in October 2021, registering a 2.56% decline over the previous month.

2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 16.39% share, an increase of 25% over the previous month.

3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 9.84%, registering a 33.33% decline from September 2021.

4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 6.56%, up 100% over the previous month.

Top five insurance companies in Slovakia’s IT recruitment activity in October 2021

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average flat growth share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Slovakia’s insurance industry during October 2021 over September 2021.

Swiss Re posted 44 IT jobs in October 2021 and registered a drop of 12% over the previous month, followed by Zurich Insurance Group with 17 jobs and a 30.77% growth. .

Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 80.33%, down by 3.92% from September 2021. Mid Level positions with a 13.11% share, registered an increase of 33.33% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 6.56% share, down 33.33% over September 2021.
