Out of the total IT job titles posted by Zurich Insurance Group, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 63.37% in September 2021, and a 16.88% drop over August 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 16.83% in September 2021, and registered a decline of 41.38%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 11.39% in September 2021, a 23.33% drop from August 2021.

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global insurance IT hiring activity in September 2021 with a 66.34% share, which marked a 21.64% drop over the previous month.
North America stood next with 25.25%, registering a 20.31% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 7.43% share and a 31.82% drop over August 2021.
In the fourth place was Vienna with a share of 0.99% and a month-on-month flat growth.
Spain commanded a leading presence in the region’s insurance industry IT hiring activity with a 27.72% share in September 2021, a 5.08% decline over August 2021. US featured next with a 23.27% share, down 21.67% over the previous month. Germany recorded a 12.87% share, a decline of 31.58% compared with August 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Zurich Insurance Group IT hiring activity in September 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 62.87%, down by 25.29% from August 2021. Mid Level positions with a 22.77% share, a decline of 19.3% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 14.36% share, down 12.12% over August 2021.
