Out of the total IT job titles posted by Willis Towers Watson, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 38.32% in September 2021, and a 60.19% drop over August 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 30.84% in September 2021, and registered flat growth. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 15.89% in September 2021, a 21.43% rise from August 2021.

North America emerged as the leading region in the global insurance IT hiring activity in September 2021 with a 51.4% share, which marked a 35.29% drop over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 21.5%, registering a 43.9% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 15.89% share and a 66% drop over August 2021.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 11.21% and a month-on-month increase of 9.09%.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s insurance industry IT hiring activity with a 50.47% share in September 2021, a 31.65% decline over August 2021. The UK featured next with a 20.56% share, down 42.11% over the previous month. Philippines recorded an 11.21% share, a decline of 61.29% compared with August 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Willis Towers Watson IT hiring activity in September 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 83.18%, down by 38.62% from August 2021. Entry Level positions with a 9.35% share, a decline of 44.44% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 7.48% share, down 66.67% over August 2021.
