Germany-based company Allianz’s IT hiring remained flat in September 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 1.48% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 12.49% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2021, and recorded a 0.55% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Allianz IT hiring in September 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Allianz, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 57.55% in September 2021, and a 10.91% rise over August 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 25.47% in September 2021, and registered growth of 42.11%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 10.38% in September 2021, a 47.62% drop from August 2021.

Europe drives IT hiring at Allianz

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global insurance IT hiring activity in September 2021 with an 86.79% share, which marked a 6.98% rise over the previous month.

North America stood next with 11.32%, registering a 33.33% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 1.89% share and a 33.33% drop over August 2021.

Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s insurance industry IT hiring activity with a 58.49% share in September 2021, a 1.59% decline over August 2021. France featured next with a 12.26% share, up 333.33% over the previous month. Spain recorded an 8.49% share, an increase of 28.57% compared with August 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Allianz IT hiring activity in September 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 77.36%, up by 18.84% from August 2021. Mid Level positions with a 16.04% share, a decline of 5.56% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 6.6% share, up 75% over August 2021.
