Germany-based company Allianz’s IT hiring an increased 10.5% in May 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics.

The company’s overall hiring activity an increased by 5.61% in May 2021 when compared with April 2021.

IT jobs claimed an 11.37% share in the company’s total hiring activity in May 2021, and recorded a 0.63% down over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Allianz IT hiring in May 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Allianz, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 44% in May 2021, and a 12.82% growth over April 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 19% in May 2021, and registered a 90% an increase. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 18% in May 2021, a 28.57% rise from April 2021.

Europe drives IT hiring at Allianz

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global insurance IT hiring activity in May 2021 with an 89% share, which marked a 56.14% growth over the previous month.

North America stood next with 9%, registering a 10% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 2% share and a flat growth over April 2021.

Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s insurance industry IT hiring activity with a 54% share in May 2021, a 63.64% growth over April 2021. France featured next with a 12% share, up 71.43% over the previous month.Spain recorded a 6% share, an increase of 500% compared with April 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Allianz IT hiring activity in May 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 77%, up by 63.83% from April 2021. Mid Level positions with a 19% share, a growth of 90% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 4% share, down 60% over April 2021.
