Out of the insurance industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 7.05% share in May 2021, recording an increase of 0.05% over the last three-month average share.

By GlobalData1) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations recorded a share of 35.44% in May 2021, a 37.78% drop over the previous month.
2) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a 29.11% share, decline of 64.62% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 17.72%, registering a 56.25% decline from April 2021.
4) Computer and Information Research Scientists captured a share of 11.39%, down 35.71% over the previous month.
Top five insurance companies in France IT recruitment activity in May 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 53.24% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France insurance industry during May 2021 over April 2021.
Equitable posted 23 IT jobs in May 2021 and registered a drop of 65.15% over the previous month, followed by AXA with 14 jobs and a 76.27% drop. Allianz with 12 IT jobs and Confederation Nationale du Credit Mutuel with 8 jobs, recorded a 71.43% growth and a 14.29% increase, respectively, while APRIL Group recorded a flat growth with 8 job postings during May 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in May 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 73.42%, down by 55.73% from April 2021. Mid Level positions with an 18.99% share, a growth of 15.38% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 5.06% share, down 69.23% over April 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 2.53%, recording a month-on-month decline of 33.33%.
