The company said that the new product will offer ‘tailor made’ policy forms for certain client segments within the firm’s Allied Healthcare (AHC), Architects & Engineers (A &E) and Miscellaneous Professional Liability (MPL) products.

It will also include common and simplified policy language across the three products and the ability to cross sell new coverages, including General Liability, to clients.

The new portfolio product will offer consultants, trustees and many other service professionals affordable insurance coverage for specific risks stemming from the services they provide.

Hiscox Professional Liability Portfolio will also offer: targeted, industry specific policy forms; wider base coverage; cross selling opportunities; and ‘Tailor-made’ policy to suit clients’ needs.

Commenting on the launch, Hiscox USA chief underwriting officer, Gary Head, said: "The service professions are a key market for Hiscox and we will continue to develop products that meet the needs of our brokers and their clients,"
