Life and pension insurer Swiss Life, has partnered with health care services company, Aetna, to offer expat health care benefits and services to its customers in Singapore.

Under the new partnership, Aetna’s expatriate health care policies will replace Swiss Life Singapore’s in-house expatriate health care benefit plans.

Aetna International Southeast Asia general manager Derek Goldberg said that the company is pleased to expand its role in the Swiss Life Network to provide its customers in Singapore with high-quality expatriate employee benefits solutions and services tailored to meet their specific needs.

"With our on-the-ground presence in Singapore and our strong global reach, we can provide the personalised, comprehensive service that multinational companies require to ensure their mobile employees have access to quality medical treatment so they can maintain good health," Goldberg added.

In July, Aetna was named the US partner for the Swiss Life Network, a global association of 60 insurance companies and business partners operating in 70 countries.
