AssuredPartners, an insurance brokerage firm based in the US, has snapped up Herlong Bates Burnett Insurance (HBB) in Greenville, South Carolina.
The acquired business operates as a full-service insurance agency and offers business, personal, health and life insurance products from a number of insurance companies.

All the staff will be retained and they will continue to work under the guidance of president of Herlong Bates Burnett Insurance Michael Herlong and vice president and COO Tom Bates.
Commenting on the deal, HBB president Michael Herlong said: “At HBB we have a commitment to provide top-notch service and competitive rates to our clients which has helped us establish ourselves as a one-stop shop for all our clients’ insurance needs.
