Professional services and technology company Davies has acquired Texas-based provider of insurance claim services The Littleton Group.

Littleton offers third party administration and claims adjusting for insurance carriers, managing general agents, offshore and stateside captives, municipalities and more.

As a result of the deal, Littleton will join the US-based Claims Solutions arm of Davies. Littleton CEO Steve Streetman will join Davies in an advisory and consulting role. Furthermore, Jeff Bode, Littleton COO will continue to lead day-to-day operations. All 165 Littleton employees will continue their roles within Davies.

Dan Saulter, group CEO, Davies said: “I am delighted to welcome Steve and the wider Littleton team to Davies. Building our Property & Casualty claims capability in the US is a strategic focus and a growing market. Littleton has a long standing, excellent reputation in the market, and the 165 strong workforce joining Davies as part of the deal, bring a wealth of experience and technical expertise to our growing business.”

Streetman added: “We’re really pleased to be joining forces with Davies, an organisation committed to growth and innovation within the claims market in the US. Davies’ history of investing in people and technology, along with a commitment to always put the interests of clients first, aligns well with our values. The cultural fit with Davies was an important factor and I believe the combination with Davies will present Littleton employees more career development opportunities and an exciting future as the company continues to grow.”

At the end of 2020, Davies acquired BMTS, a Scotland-based motor inspections and engineering business.
