Accenture has unveiled enhanced version of Accenture Life Insurance Platform (ALIP), a life insurance and annuity software suite.
The new insurance suite is claimed to allow insurers lower implementation costs, increase product speed to market, and improve usability with better performance and scalability.

The IT firm stated that the product features support complex insurance business rules and calculations as well as allows custom processing through configuration.
Enhancements in the latest version of ALIP include improved usability, product templates, performance and testing benchmarks.
Accenture Life & Annuity Software managing director Shay Alon said, "These features have been put into use by some of our clients in order to deliver products to market more quickly, at a reduced cost, keeping our clients competitive and their customers happy."
ALIP, which is used by over 40 insurers across the world, is a configurable and scalable software suite that offers solutions to product development, new business, underwriting, policy administration and payout.
